A one day conference for leaders, musicians, creatives and worshippers of all ages on Saturday 15th June.
Our heart is to serve the local church. This day is for anyone who wants to grow in worship, for any person, any age*; whether you play an instrument or not, lead worship or not, this day is for you.
There will be specific training for worship leaders, musicians and songwriters, but also content to help inspire and equip anyone who wants to grow in worshipping God. Featuring teaching from:
Simon & Anna Brading | Jake Isaac | Graham Kendrick | Nath & Lou Fellingham | Newday Songwriting Team | Emmanuel
10.00 Main Session 1
12.15 Main Session 2

16.00 Workshops part ii
19.00 Session 3 - Evening Celebration
Part 1 // The Basics
Looking at the critical role of your instrument within the band and some basic tips and techniques to take you're playing forwards! For beginners to intermediate players.
Part 2// Advanced
Developing your instrument to unlock new heights and depths of worship. Very practical, more in depth look at technique, sounds, dynamics and parts. For intermediate to advanced players.
We're ending the day with a huge worship event featuring our NewdayWorship team lead by Simon Brading and friends. We'll look to journey together in intimacy and wonder, praise and celebration, purposefully giving time together for times of refreshing from the presence of God.
Prayer & Ministry
An important component of the day for us is time to pray together. Want want to give opportunity to pray and commission individuals, leaders, creatives and musicians back into our churches, towns and cities.
But also, with this unique gathering of hundreds of worship leaders and musicians in one place, we want to cry out to God for His Church in the UK and Europe, praying for God's kingdom to come in our churches and beyond. Stay around for an evening of encounter, worship and prayer!
Worship School will be held at Emmanuel in Brighton:
We Are Emmanuel
47 New England Street
As the venue is literally 4 minutes walk from Brighton train station, we recommend getting the train down. However, there is a car park opposite the Clarendon Centre which is around £10 for the day.
Because it's only a one day conference, we've kept the lunch break fairly tight, so we'd recommend bringing a packed lunch. But we've left a slightly longer dinner break before the evening celebration if you want to go out and get food...
Here are some of our favourites:
10 mins walk
Fatto O Manno
3 mins walk
Mexican street food
8 mins walk
8 mins walk
6 mins walk
There is a McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Dominos, kebab shop, Sainsbury's, Boots and Co-op all within 10 minutes of the Clarendon Centre. Google map it on the day and you'll be winning.
Worship Pastors Day
We're hosting pre-conference event for all local church Worship Team leaders / Worship Pastors.
This is an optional pre-conference event on Friday 8th June designed specifically for Worship Team Leaders or Worship Pastors, and requires a separate ticket to Worship School Conference on the Saturday. Click here for more info.
God has called us to train the next generation worship leaders and musicians and we appreciate train tickets and petrol can add up... so we've purposely made this day as accessible as possible
