Newday is all about changing lives, reaching cities and mobilising a generation. Right at the heart of that is worship.

Meet The Team
This summer has seen South London singer songwriter, Jake Isaac play at over 40 festivals across the UK and Europe, including Glastonbury, Reading & Leeds, Secret Garden Party, Barn On The Farm, and Somersault Festival. Jake has supported Paloma Faith on her European tour and Ella Eyre at her sold out shows in London (Roundhouse) and Dublin (Academy) as well as Angus & Julia Stone in Europe. In April Jake played a sold out headline show at London’s Barfly. Jake is also carries a huge heart for the church and is an experienced, anointed worship leader. He’s also written many songs for the church including Greater Than It All featured on Newday Worship Live 2015.
Having served a lead singer of Phatfish for almost two decades - during which time she recorded eight albums, toured extensively throughout the UK, Canada and America and became an integral part of the worship team at the Stoneleigh Bible weeks - Lou Fellingham is now four albums in to a firmly-established career as a solo artist. Her distinctive voice and heart for people have made Lou a greatly loved worship leader, singer and recording artist.
Lou is married to Nathan and they have three kids, Jesse, Ella and Jude. They are based in Church of Christ the King Brighton, where they regularly lead worship.
Simon & Anna Brading
Well I guess that’s me. I’m married to the wonderful Anna and have 3 daughters, Ruby, Zoë and Everly. Together we lead the Newday Worship team as well as the Worship Team at Church of Christ the King, Brighton. Between us we've co-written a few songs including Move Like This, Call You Faithful and Alive With Worship. I have a heart to see worshippers, worship leaders and musicians leading in freedom and faith in the local church. I also loves food.
Sam lives in Brighton with his wife Becki and their two children, Callie and Leo. Sam has been a full-time musicians and Producer since 2009, working in the UK and around the world with Matt Redman and Worship Central among others. For many years, Sam has been the Musical Director for the Newday band, but more recently Sam and Becki have been leading worship at Newday and other events, plus writing new songs including You Died For Me and I Believe. They are releasing their first studio album in May 2016.

Sarah also has a huge heart to see people singing in freedom, security and joy. She has graced the Newday team with her awesome vocals for the past few years, leading Call You Faithful on the Newday Live 2014 album
Zac is married to Zoë and together they lead Everyday Church Clapham. Zac loves having the honour of leading the worship team in his local church setting but often battles with the reoccurring question of, 'What would we do if Justin Bieber joined our church? Worship leader or backing vocals?’
Rachel is a wife of one man and a mum to 3 daughters. She has a music studio in her house. She hates slugs and getting her hair cut, but loves walking near trees, singing, baking and colouring in her bible. She is currently writing her first novel. When she grows up she wants to be a mermaid. Or a knight.
Jack has been playing electric guitar in the Newday Band for many years, bringing excellence, hooks and passion in all that he does. More recently, Jack has developed as a talented songwriter and producer, working with many people in the industry as well as producing Call You Faithful and Dance All Day with the Newday team. Jack and his brother Chris have just released a new self-titled project ‘Wintermeyer’. As well as his insane talent, Jack has a wonderful heart for worship and seeing people released in worshiping freely.
Joth is married to Charlotte and lives in Brighton. They are both legends. With a stunning ear for melody and an incredible talent for penning fresh, creative lyrics, Jotham has emerged as very talented songwriter in the Newday Team. Jotham leads worship regularly at CCK Brighton with a passion for creativity and heart to encounter God.
Newday Worship School will be held at Church of Christ the King in Brighton:
Church of Christ the King
47 New England Street
As the venue is literally 4 minutes walk from Brighton train station, we recommend getting the train down. However, there is a car park opposite the Clarendon Centre which is around £10 for the day.
Because it's only a one day conference, we've kept the lunch break fairly tight, so we'd recommend bringing a packed lunch. But we've left a slightly longer dinner break before the evening celebration if you want to go out and get food...
There is a McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Dominos, kebab shop, Sainsburys, Boots and Co-op all within 10 minutes of the Clarendon Centre. Google map it on the day and you'll be winning.
This Newday Worship School day is on us. 👍🏻
God has called us to train the next generation worship leaders and musicians and we appreciate train tickets and petrol can add up... so we've purposely made this day as accessible as possible.
We are hugely excited about this day and cannot wait to see what God will do.
